Salina Amaro
Founder

Salina Amaro is owner of Cedar Rose Consulting and has been working in public accounting since 2006. As a licensed Enrolled Agent with a Master’s Degree in Taxation from California State University, Salina has overseen multiple internal company acquisitions and managed over 700 clients including many multi-million dollar businesses. She has accounting expertise in various industries such as real estate, medical practices, consulting, law firms, and manufacturing. She prides herself on simplifying the tax return process and finding effective ways to handle any accounting needs. Salina resides in Orange with her husband and two children.

Mario Amaro
Co-Founder

Mario Amaro is the co-founder of Cedar Rose Consulting. Mario's extensive career in banking has led to an experience in leading, building, and developing teams and is an advocate for fostering a positive workplace culture, focusing on creating environments where talent thrives.

Mario has been a lead in several internal company initiatives and provided services to hundreds of clients, some of which are multi-million-dollar businesses. Mario is a graduate of Colorado State where he earned a degree in Organizational Leadership. Mario resides in Orange with his wife and two children. In his free time, Mario volunteers at local non-profits and coaches his children’s baseball and soccer teams.

Jennifer Johnston

Jennifer is a Controller at Cedar Rose Consulting and has experience in public audit as well as being a controller for the last 7 years. She’s worked primarily in real estate, the food industry and retail. Jennifer earned a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from California State University, Fullerton. She’s a self proclaimed perfectionist who loves to find what’s wrong and fix it, making sure everyone’s books are perfect. Jennifer lives in Mission Viejo, CA with her husband and three children.

Jennifer Abt

Bookkeeper at Cedar Rose Consulting, Jennifer earned a BA in Applied Mathematics from Cal State Fullerton, and later took classes at Saddleback College as part of their Accounting Certificate Program. Jennifer’s work experiences include savings & loan branch savings officer and county transportation planner, but since 2015 Jennifer has been assisting a variety of clients with their bookkeeping needs. Jennifer enjoys working with clients to improve their accounting processes, and to ensure that the financials are accurate, timely, and useful to the client. Jennifer lives in Laguna Hills with her husband and son, three resident cats, and two foster catlings.

Ismael Ramos

Ismael is a bookkeeper for Cedar Rose Consulting. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from CETYS University (Mexico) and is currently studying a double Masters degree in Business Administration and Global Leadership from University of San Diego (USD). Ismael has experience managing business accounts in manufacturing environments and has most recently been mastering U.S. bookkeeping. He cares about offering a high quality service at a low cost via cross border collaboration. Ismael lives in Baja with his wife and is currently learning to play the piano!
